We have exciting news about one of Disney Cruise Line’s NEW ships!

No, it’s not the Disney Treasure, which will be setting sail in December 2024 — We’re talking about the Disney Adventure, which will be setting sail from Singapore starting in 2025! We just found out a little bit more about what will be available on this ship and we need to talk more about this San Fransokyo Street idea ASAP!

In Disney Cruise Line’s new announcement about the offerings on the ship, they describe San Franksokyo Street as an area inspired by Big Hero 6 that will be a bustling family entertainment area featuring interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas and more.”

San Fransokyo Square

That sounds like a LOT of attractions for one area on the ship — cinemas (plural??), games, and more, all meant for families? This sounds pretty amazing to us. But what can we really expect to see in this area? While we don’t know for sure yet, we can take a look at San Fransokyo Square in Disney California Adventure for some ideas!

San Fransokyo Square

Over in San Fransokyo Square, there are currently 6 dining options you can experience:

Aunt Cass Café (soups in bread bowls, Japanese-inspired dishes, and more)
Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería (Beer garden)
Rita’s Turbine Blenders (Frozen margaritas and non-alcoholic options)
Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill (Street tacos)
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop (chocolate and ice cream deliciousness)
Lucky Fortune Cookery (Asian-style meals on the go)
Cappuccino Cart (Espresso specialties)

We’d love to see some of these restaurants on board the Disney Adventure, even as snack stands, but we’re not thinking it’s likely since Disney has not said specifically there will be any dining in this area.

There are going to be some special shops available though, so we’re thinking those could bring in the Collectible Medallions you can grab in San Fransokyo Square in DCA currently! These feature characters from the film, and we think it’d be so fun to have Disney Cruise Line versions of them available only on board.

There’s also an exciting bakery tour you can experience in San Fransokyo Square (where you can sometimes buy bread shaped like Baymax!), and that would be an epic experience to bring on board too. Especially including that Baymax bread — even if it’s an additional cost, we’d totally buy that!

We can’t wait to hear more about what Disney has in store for this new ship, especially San Fransokyo Street. We’ll be sure to update you as we hear more, so stay tuned to DFB!
