The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade at Magic Kingdom will close permanently this month to make way for a Disney Vacation Club member lounge.
Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade Closing Date
The final day of operation for the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade will be June 23, 2024, the Orlando Sentinel reports. After that, it will be closed for construction of the new lounge.
The lounge will be “inspired by the bygone era of exploration and adventure.” It will be the first DVC lounge in Magic Kingdom. There are lounges in the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT and Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Disney announced a new DVC lounge in January 2024 but didn’t specify a location. We reported on rumors that it would replace the Shootin’ Arcade, which has been free-to-play since 2021. Disney eventually confirmed the arcade would be demolished for construction of the lounge.
