“Celebrate Soulfully” returns to Disneyland Resort this June for Black Music Month. The celebration highlights Black heritage and culture through music, food, and art.
“Celebrate Soulfully” at Disneyland Park
At Disneyland Park, the Golden Horseshoe will host the exhibit Black Music at the Turn of the 20th Century. The exhibit is a showcase of ragtime and Black country music. Guests will see how these music genres “still thrive and inspire American culture as [they] explore onstage vignettes, replete with décor, props and graphics.”
Tiana’s Palace and River Belle Terrace will have special food and beverage offerings. Guests can also meet Tiana and Ariel from the live-action film, as usual, at Disneyland.
“Celebrate Soulfully” at Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure will have special music performances at Paradise Garden Bandstand. Showtimes are 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM on the following dates with the respective acts.

On Buena Vista Street, guests can enjoy singer Dime and her jazz quintet performing hits of the ‘20s and ‘30s.
“Soul”-inspired food and beverage offerings are available at The Spark Marketplace. A Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! parade float is also dedicated to “Soul.” At Pixar Place Hotel, guests can catch Joe Gardner from “Soul” playing jazz at the piano in the lobby.
Disney highlights Disney Legend Floyd Norman, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ first Black animator. Guests can see some of his contributions in Hollywood Land.
Guests can meet Black Panther, Dora Milaje, and Captain America in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.
“Celebrate Soulfully” at Downtown Disney District
Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage Entertainment will include live musical performances highlighting R&B, hip hop, reggae, funk, Motown, jazz, and doo-wop.
“Family-friendly” shows are at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM:

On June 29, there will be an artist showcase and signing with Larissa Marantz and Mark Page. The first signings will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney District. The second will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Disneyana in Disneyland Park.

Musical acts will perform in the Disneyland Hotel lobby lounge on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM, 6:15 PM to 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM.
