A new EPCOT park entrance sign has been installed to match the updated logo style.
New EPCOT Park Entrance Sign
The new park entrance sign sits back on the sod, away from the path. It’s located at the bus stop entrance and has an arrow directing guests to follow the correct path to the park entrance.
The sign features the new EPCOT typographical logo and font style. The letters are outlined in the same gray as the base of the sign, which has a blue stripe across the bottom. The color matches that of World Celebration, the EPCOT neighborhood that guests enter at the front of the park.
EPCOT has just completed its multi-year reimagining with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza on June 10. The overhaul included the new neighborhoods, removing Future World, and redividing the front half of the park into three distinct areas: World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature.
As part of the changes, World Celebration was heavily changed, with Innoventions East and West changed into the new CommuniCores, Creations Shop, Connections Eatery & Cafe, and more. Gardens replaced the old Fountain of Nations.
In World Nature, a new attraction opened—Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
Many of the announcements for the reimagined EPCOT never came to fruition. We compiled an overview of the project, exploring what made and did not make the final cut.
