A new sign and windows have been installed on the former Blue Sky Cellar at Disney California Adventure, which is becoming a Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center.
DVC Welcome Home Center Construction
Construction walls went up around Blue Sky Cellar in late 2023. Over the walls, we can now see a small round wooden sign reading “Golden Vine House,” a reference to the fictional Golden Vine Winery previously at that location. The Disney Vacation Club wordmark is in white at the bottom. It features blue filigree and a blue leaf at the top.
The building also has new windows, visible behind the 4Town Fav4*ites Pixar Fest Marketplace. There are panels behind the windows so we can’t see into the building.
Blue Sky Cellar replaced Seasons of the Vine when it opened in 2008 in the park’s original Golden State area. On and off for the next several years, Blue Sky Cellar featured exhibits about upcoming lands and attractions, like The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Cars Land, and finally Pixar Pier. It had not been open to guests since 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down Disneyland Resort, although Disney Imagination Campus utilized the space. Disney Imagination Campus moved to the Beast’s Library at Sorcerer’s Workshop, closing the space to guests.
