We have a confession to make: we are STILL not over WandaVision.

Yes, we know it’s been three years since that show premiered on Disney+, but we’ve watched it several times SINCE. Yes, we know Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness sort of followed up on Scarlet Witch’s journey after the series, but we still have a lot of questions. Now, we know one WandaVision spin-off series is on the way soon, Agatha All Along. But now, Disney has announced a second WandaVision spin-off series, and we can’t contain our excitement!

According to Variety, a series based on the character of Vision will premiere on Disney+ in 2026. Say what?! So now, a reminder that Vision actually died in Avengers: Infinity War, but his body was recovered by S.W.O.R.D. The version of Vision we saw in WandaVision was a creation of Wanda’s hex spell over the town of Westview. When she released that spell, that Vision, along with their sons, ceased to exist.

But S.W.O.R.D. used the OG version of Vision’s body to create a new version, White Vision. Whew — a lot happened, y’all. Anyway, White Vision turned up in WandaVision briefly, so we know he’s still out there somewhere. The new Vision series will pick up with White Vision exploring “his new purpose in life.” (And we really hope this means we’ll see Wanda again.)

Disney has confirmed that Paul Bettany will return to the role, with the new series being directed by Terry Matalas as showrunner. Matalas was most recently executive producer on Star Trek: Picard. Matalas received a WGA Award nomination for the third season of that series. So it certainly seems that the new Vision series is in good hands.

Interestingly enough, a Vision series was in development with WandaVision‘s Jac Schaeffer, but Schaeffer’s attention soon turned to the first WandaVision spin-off series, Agatha All Along, which will premiere on Disney+ on September 18th. This will be the first live-action Marvel series picked up by Disney+ in over two years, which shows that Disney has made a shift in how it creates new Marvel television shows. Disney is focusing on a more traditional approach to how it makes these shows, as well as limiting them to around just two per year.

Disney has not yet revealed any other cast that may be coming to the Vision series, but we can hold out hope for not just Wanda, but also for more Agent Woo (Randall Park) and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings), right? Could we even see the return of Kathryn Hahn as Agatha? Or will we see White Vision reuniting with his Avengers pals (at least those who are still living) like Hawkeye, Thor, or Hulk, who are all still out there somewhere?

We guess we’ll have to wait and see what the future has in store for Vision. The new series is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026.
