Pinocchio Characters & Coca-Cola Snowflakes Among New Christmas Holiday Decorations at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris is debuting new Christmas decorations throughout the theme parks, hotels, and Disney Village.
Pinocchio Holiday Decorations at Au Chalet de la Marionnette

Pinocchio-inspired quick-service restaurant Au Chalet de la Marionnette in Fantasyland will debut new decorations inside and out. The decorations are designed to blend seamlessly with its Tyrolean-inspired architecture.
Garlands and wreaths adorn the facade. Christmas trees with sparkling lights are on the terrace, along with a photo op designed as a puppet theater. At the foot of the trees are traditional toys inspired by Pinocchio characters among gift boxes.

“Our goal was to integrate these decorations harmoniously into the world of Au Chalet de la Marionnette, so we drew inspiration from Geppetto’s woodcarvings in the animated film to develop these traditional toys depicting Jiminy Cricket and Cleo the little fish,” said Lisa Ingrassia, Show Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.
Inside are hanging garlands and Christmas wreaths adorned with ribbons and candles, complemented by vintage decorative elements such as an old coffee grinder and a coffee machine, in reference to the world of Lavazza, Official Partner of Disneyland Paris. Lavazza will also join in the celebrations by offering guests an experience specially created for the season.
Au Chalet de la Marionnette will offer a festive seasonal menu featuring chicken served with redcurrant and cranberry sauce, baby potatoes, and a Christmas biscuit with almonds and vanilla. Three new winter hot beverages are exclusive to the restaurant. These include two coffee-based recipes, one with roasted hazelnut and the other with cinnamon roll flavor, as well as a pear-flavored hot chocolate, all created by Lavazza.
In addition to the decorations, a limited-time activation centered around stars and wishes, inspired by the iconic song “When You Wish Upon a Star,” will be available during Disney Enchanted Christmas. With every purchase of a Lavazza hot beverage at Au Chalet de la Marionnette, each guest will receive a blue paper star inviting them to share a wish, a dream or a special thought. Once written, the star may be placed in one of the two Wish Chalets located inside and outside the restaurant.
A sweepstakes will also be accessible via a QR code printed on the back of each star, giving guests a chance to win a dream stay for four at Disneyland Paris, including a lunch with Disney Characters and a Disney VIP Tours experience, offered by Lavazza.
Christmas Decorations at Disney Hotels

Disney Santa Fe is decked out with Christmas trees and garlands inspired by the Cars franchise. A Christmas tree made of tires has been installed outdoors, complemented by natural fir trees and colorful garlands. Inside, festive décor includes a 3-meter-tall Christmas tree adorned with ribbons and Cars-inspired decorations.
La Cantina and Rio Grande Bar are also joining in the celebrations, including with the theming of the restaurant’s iconic car, specially decorated with a Christmas tree.
“We collaborated with Pixar Animation Studios to develop these themed decorations so they would blend harmoniously with the world of Cars and the American Southwest design of Disney Santa Fe: cacti, checkered patterns, and the integration of Lightning McQueen and Mater all come together to create a warm holiday setting,” said Sophie Coudré, Creative Lead Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.
At Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the traditional giant Christmas bauble will soon be installed in front of the entrance on the Lake Disney side. This year, in honor of the theatrical release of Avengers: Doomsday on December 16, it will feature a new design depicting Doctor Doom against a green background.

Disneyland Hotel will once again offer refined and traditional decorations including garlands, baubles, and ribbons. The Guards of the Winter Holidays and the giant Christmas tree near the fireplace lobby will return, joined this year by a brand-new photo op on the walkway at the throne photo spot, framed by banners in the colors of Beauty and the Beast.
Disney Village Christmas Decorations

As Disneyland Paris previously teased, the transformed Disney Village will debut new decorations designed by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris including Christmas trees. Giant decorative snowflakes developed with Official Partner Coca-Cola will be inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters.

“For the past few years, Disney Village has been undergoing a true transformation aimed at elevating the guest experience. That is why we also wanted to introduce entirely new decorations celebrating the joy of Christmas and the magic of winter, while also evoking stories beloved by our guests,” explained Etienne Moisy, Artistic Portfolio Coordinator at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.
New themed photo ops will be installed throughout Disney Village, and Sports Bar & Lounge will receive new Christmas wreaths and garlands, as well as a limited-edition Coca-Cola coaster in holiday colors that will be offered to guests ordering a Coca-Cola beverage.
Disney Enchanted Christmas at Disneyland Paris is from November 7 through January 6. This year marks the first holiday season for World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World.
