“Disney Dreams That Soar,” the new drone show coming to Disney Springs, will affect the schedules for various Disney Springs offerings.
Hours Adjusted for Disney Dreams That Soar
Due to the addition of “Disney Dreams That Soar,” The Vintage Amphicar Tours, which typically run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. will now cease operation at 8 p.m. Aerophile — The World Leader in Balloon Flight, which would normally operate 9:30 a.m. through 11:30 p.m., will also stop at 8 p.m.
As for transportation, the Sassagoula River Cruise to and from Disney Springs from Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Port Orleans – French Quarter will also cut down its hours. The final departure from Disney Springs was previously around 11:30 p.m. and will now be 8 p.m.
Disney Dreams that Soar Drone Show
“Disney Dreams That Soar” will be performed nightly above Lake Buena Vista on the West Side of Disney Springs from May 24 through September 2 at 9 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Viewing areas can be found on the Disney Springs West Side, along the waterfront between the Cirque du Soleil Theatre and the Aerophile. These locations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The new drone show will feature characters from Disney properties including “Star Wars,” “Toy Story,” “WALL-E,” “Big Hero 6,” and more. The roughly 10-minute performance will be made up of 800 drones, will feature Disney musical scores, and sync up with the MagicBand+.
