Is Disney’s Jollywood Nights Worth $200 a Ticket in 2026?

The holiday season has officially kicked off in Disney World! The halls have been decked, and decorations have started to go up in the parks. And Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has started and will run on select nights through January 5th.
We recently attended the first Jollywood Nights party of the year, and you may be wondering if the party is worth its ticket price. Well, we’re going to break down what that ticket gets you to help you make that decision!
Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed event that happens on select evenings November 7th through January 5th. Ticket prices run from $169 to $199 per person, depending on the night you attend. The event features a lot of exclusive food, entertainment, merchandise, and more. But does that make it worth the price tag?
The event runs from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM. However, if you have a ticket, you can enter Hollywood Studios as early as 5:30 PM. That gives you about seven hours total in the park, and, well, you can do a lot in that time. Before the party officially kicks off, you can ride some attractions or try some of the non-party exclusive food, then as soon as 7:30 PM rolls around, you’ll also have access to all the party’s exclusive offerings.
If you’re looking to be entertained, there’s no shortage of shows to do that. You can watch a variety show hosted by Kermit and Miss Piggy called Disney Holidays in Hollywood.
You can belt out your favorite Nightmare Before Christmas tunes during What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along. You can watch international champion figure skaters in Glisten! — A Skating Spectacular.
And you can watch the evening go out with a bang with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks show. Note that NONE of this entertainment is available outside the party.
You can also attend the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club in the courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel (aka Tower of Terror) with special drinks and entertainment.
You can also dance the night away at the Pixar Disco, where several of your favorite Pixar characters will join in to dance and party!
The Checkin’ It Twice Lounge is new this year at Animation Courtyard and features specialty beverages, a DJ, and entertainment. This is a great spot to enjoy those Christmas vibes and find out if you’re on the Naughty or Nice list!
If you want to meet characters, you’ll have a chance to meet a lot of rare characters like George Sanderson and Needleman, Baloo, Lotso, Mike Wazowski, Scrooge McDuck, Bo Peep, Phineas and Ferb, Max Goof as Powerline, Santa Stitch, Santa Duffy, and many more. There are more than 25 characters you can see during the party!
You can also purchase a LOT of exclusive party food and drinks, which is one of our favorite things to do. You could spend the whole party just wandering around and trying all the special food (yep, we’ve done that).
You can also make reservations for a special dining experience, Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby, which features a special menu for the party and live jazz music.
If you love to shop, you can get exclusive party souvenirs during the event, including merchandise themed to the fan-favorite Santa Gertie! If you love exclusive spirit jerseys, ears, pins, Loungeflys, and more, you’ll want to set aside part of your budget for shopping. However, you’ll also want to be aware that merch could take up a chunk of your evening; on opening night, we waited over an hour in line to check out the merch.
One of the BEST things about parties like Jollywood Nights is that they’re limited-ticket events, meaning fewer crowds than you might see in the parks during the day, especially during the holidays. That also means shorter wait times for rides, so you can ride all your favorite attractions without waiting in long lines.
You also get free Photopass downloads for the entirety of the evening, so you can download all those holiday memories you’re making in Hollywood Studios.
When Jollywood Nights premiered several years ago, it was still trying to find its footing, but over the past few years, it’s really become a party that we always look forward to every year. If you want something that feels a little more “classy” and Hollywood than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, this one is for you. But is it worth its $199 price tag? Well, it depends on what your family wants and expects from an event like this and how much you’re willing to spend for that.
You get a LOT for a ticket to the party, so much that you probably won’t have time to see and do everything. But if you can see and do everything you want to, that party ticket might just be worth it, especially if you want to go to a party that feels a little more sophisticated than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This year, we actually noticed that while there were kids at the party, the majority of the guests we saw on opening night were adults.
We enjoy our time at Jollywood Nights, but it may not be for you. This party isn’t quite as targeted at children as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, although we don’t doubt that some kids might love it. But you’ll have to decide if it’s best for your family or group, and only you will know the answer to that question!
