It’s officially Pride Month and rainbow murals are popping up at the Walt Disney World theme parks. The “Love” mural featuring a rainbow and Mickey ears has returned to the Purple Wall at Magic Kingdom.

The mural features a Mickey ear silhouette in a slightly darker shade of purple than the wall. “Love” is in an off-white shade in the center of the Mickey head. Curving behind the ears is a rainbow made of the colors of the Progress Pride flag.

The Progress flag includes the colors of a traditional Pride flag — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple — as well as chevron stripes of black and brown to represent LGBTQIA+ people of color, and pink, white, and light blue stripes to represent transgender individuals.

The additional stripes are meant to highlight the unique struggles of LGBTQIA+ people of color and transgender people. The Progress Pride flag was designed by Daniel Quasar in 2018, drawing from the original Pride flag designed by Gilbert Baker, the Philadelphia Pride flag by marketing firm Tierney, and the Transgender Pride flag by Monica Helms.

This Pride mural debuted last year, although a different Mickey ear rainbow mural was featured the year before. It can be found on the solid purple section of the purple wall next to Tomorrowland Terrace, along the walkway between the quick-service restaurant and the rest of Tomorrowland.
