Merry Menagerie Merchandise Arrives at Animal Kingdom for 2026 Holiday Season
A new Merry Menagerie merchandise collection is now on shelves at Island Mercantile in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a few days before the puppets return to Discovery Island. We found a light blue sweatshirt, a purple T-shirt, a sculpted ornament, and a pair of ears at the shop. Each piece shows the menagerie’s animals in a swirling style. Purple, pink, light blue, and gold tie the whole set together this year.

Merry Menagerie is one of Animal Kingdom’s signature holiday traditions. Puppeteers bring Arctic animals to life around Discovery Island. Walt Disney World’s holiday season begins November 13th, and the matching merchandise is already out. Here are the prices we found:

Merry Menagerie Sweatshirt and T-Shirt
The light blue crewneck sweatshirt keeps the front simple. A small left-chest graphic shows an owl flying over a deep purple Tree of Life while a fox stretches out at its base. On the back, two reindeer, one large and one small, stand together against a pink and orange airbrushed glow. Gold glitter picks out their antlers and hooves. The reindeer’s legs are drawn in jointed sections much like the puppets guests see on Discovery Island.
Over on the purple T-shirt, nearly the whole cast fits on the back. A penguin, reindeer, seal, polar bear, fox, and what looks like a small Arctic squirrel parade beneath the Tree of Life, with an owl and two birds flying overhead. On the front, a chest graphic shows the reindeer and penguin at the tree’s roots.
Apparel prices barely moved since the last time we covered this collection. This year’s shirt costs $2 more than the Merry Menagerie T-shirt we found in 2023. The sweatshirt matches that year’s holiday hoodie price.
Merry Menagerie Ornament and Ears
This year’s ornament is a fully sculpted scene. A white Tree of Life canopy, painted with mint green swirls and orange dots, sits over a purple trunk. Below it, a reindeer with golden antlers stands beside the penguin and fox, and an owl on a thin wire seems to fly past the tree. The purple base has the Animal Kingdom name and “Merry Menagerie 2026” in white script.
That ornament costs $7 more than the 2023 version, and the extra detail shows. For the ears, a sleeping white fox curls across one side with its eyes closed in a smile. A light blue snowflake is embroidered on its forehead. On the other side sits a round blue plush ear with purple and pink embroidery. An iridescent bow printed with snowflakes and swirls ties them together, and the collection name appears along the light blue headband.
