New signage has been added to the exterior of what will become the Summer Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida.

Summer Tribute Store

A total of four new signs have been added to the facade of the Summer Tribute Store.

Just above the store is a sign for the “Tribute Store Plaza.” Seemingly inspired by a strip mall, this sign is white with red text and border. We’ve seen this logo previously on the advertisement for guests to appear in their own VHS tapes.

The other three signs added could be the themes for each of the rooms that are present in the store: Mega Video, Mega Castle Arcade, and Tribute Theater.

The Mega Video sign features “Mega” in a maroon script, and “Video” in white stylized capitals set inside yellow blocks.

The Mega Castle Arcade logo features a purple castle with “Mega Castle” in sage green serif capitals. “Arcade” is shown in that same sage green, but in a different, slightly more whimsical font, with the “C” shaped like Pac-Man. The top turrets of the castle are also green.

Finally, Tribute Theater is decked out in maroon, black, and yellow. “Tribute” is in all capitals in a thin font, with “Theater” in a large, thicker font beneath. The “T” and “R” are slightly oversized from the rest of the word.

Rumors suggest the Summer Tribute Store will open this Friday, May 24. Stay tuned for more updates as that date approaches!
