Are you looking for another excuse to plan a trip to Disney World? Well, we have the perfect reason for you!

Magic Kingdom

Disney World likes to celebrate the holidays a little early, and by early, we mean Halloween in August! Magic Kingdom will soon be gearing up to host Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but preparations for the party may start popping up sooner than you would think!

It is never too early to start thinking about Halloween, especially at Disney World, and we will take any excuse to celebrate Halloween for even longer! Halloween fans, your wait for the spooky season is drawing close, and you are going to want to visit the Magic Kingdom in August for this specific reason!

Magic Kingdom

The first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party of the 2024 season will be on August 9th, which means Magic Kingdom needs to be decorated in its finest Halloween decor before then.

Fall at Magic Kingdom

Last year, we saw decor go up in JULY! Granted, it was July 31st, but it is still funny to think about Halloween so early.

The decorations are expected to go up on a similar schedule this year, so if you are looking for some ghoulish delights, Magic Kingdom during the first week of August is the place to be!

I mean, who does not love to see the Mickey Jack-o-Lanterns adorn the Main Street street lamps?

Hey Mickey!

And come on, look how adorable the Main Street Pumpkin Citizens are! We can’t wait to see them back on Main Street so soon!

If you want to fully immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit at Disney World, you can attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party, which runs on select nights between August and November.

This party is not one that you want to miss! This party has exclusive merchandise and Halloween-themed eats. Plus, you can experience Mickey’s Boo To You Parade and get the parade theme song stuck in your head for the entire season, and we aren’t complaining because it is so catchy!

The skies around the castle will light up with a fireworks show exclusive to the party called Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular! Even Jack Skellington makes a special appearance during this show!
