The iconic entrance fountain of EPCOT has been refilled with water and is running again after being drained last month.

EPCOT Fountain Running Again

The fountain was not running as early as Tuesday, July 21.

We don’t know if the fountain was purposefully turned off or if there was an issue. There were no signs of construction or maintenance work around the fountain.

We did see coins in the fountain, so we don’t believe it was drained in order to remove them.

Based on the fountain that once sat in the same spot when EPCOT opened, this fountain was constructed in 2020 as part of a reimagining of the park’s entrance. It features three lucite pylons etched with the EPCOT logo. Color-changing lights illuminate the fountain at night, synchronizing with Spaceship Earth light shows.
