Construction for Project Fedora will likely be ramping up soon, as we spotted a new construction vehicle at the exit for Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Mystery Construction Vehicle Added to Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular

Project Fedora – a reference to Indiana Jones’ iconic hat – appeared on the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District map of Walt Disney World back in May, with two new permits being filed. The 202-square-foot space is right outside the stunt show’s exit, where construction began back in March. Props were removed, rolling planters were installed, pavement was torn away, and most recently, a large tree was removed.

During our latest visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed another new change – a mystery construction vehicle has been placed in the exit.

The red-and-white construction vehicle is covered in a green tarp, obscuring most of the vehicle from view. It’s hard to tell what type of vehicle it is, but the smaller, boxy silhouette could mean this vehicle is a mini skid steer. The addition of the vehicle likely suggests more construction to the area is coming soon.

The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular exit is still open for guests leaving the show; they just have to walk around the planters. Depending on what is planned for the space, construction walls may eventually replace the planters.

In the past few years, the space has been used as a home for outdoor vending carts and special meet-and-greets. Prior to 2020, there was a truck that acted as a merchandise kiosk at the exit.
