Silly Symphony Swings is currently closed for refurbishment, but the lengthy refurbishment may be nearing completion with the latest construction update.

Silly Symphony Swings Refurbishment Update

Silly Symphony Swings closed for refurbishment on April 27, 2026. In our last update, we noticed the iconic red-and-white striped top had returned. Though the attraction continues to be obscured by tall beige scrim walls on the side visible from Paradise Gardens Park, we could see another icon had returned: Mickey the conductor, located at the very top of the attraction.

In addition, some of the beige scrim on the side closest to the attraction entrance seem to be in the process of being removed. A long strip has been rolled up and clipped to the scrim below it.

The cream-colored construction walls that were installed around the attraction to prevent guests from entering the queue are still up as well.

Silly Symphony Swings is based on the 1935 short, “The Band Concert,” featuring Mickey Mouse as a conductor who keeps his orchestra playing even as a tornado lifts them all into the sky. In the ride, guests are seated on a swing that dangles from the overhead canopy. The canopy then lifts and rotates guests as the “William Tell Overture” plays.

There is currently no reopening date listed on the Disneyland website.
