D23 Previews Upcoming Pin Collections

Disney previewed several upcoming pin collections during the “Beyond the Magic: Disney Pin Trading” panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

The pin-focused panel featured members of the Pin Trading product design team as they discussed their roles, the concept-design process, and continuing innovation in Disney pins. Toward the end of the discussion, the team shared a quick look at some of the upcoming designs and pin collections fans can expect as we head into the final stretch of 2026.

Beauty and the Beast 30th Anniversary

The Beauty and the Beast 30th anniversary collection includes several designs featuring Belle, the Beast, Gaston, LeFou, Lumière, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, and other characters. Among the more elaborate designs is a circular pin assortment arranged around the enchanted rose.

Winter Dreams

Disney animal companions curl up for the holidays in the Winter Dreams collection. The three large designs across the top of the preview are jumbo pins depicting sleeping Disney companions.

The four lower designs form a set of sleeping Disney horses. A separate mystery collection, shown in the two columns on the right, features Mickey and a variety of animal characters as snowmen against snowy nighttime backgrounds.

2026 Advent Calendar

Disney previewed several upcoming pin collections during the “Beyond the Magic: Disney Pin Trading” panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

A 24-day gingerbread-themed Advent calendar will contain pins depicting Disney characters as holiday cookies. The calendar’s packaging resembles a decorated kitchen oven, with one pin concealed behind each daily compartment. A decorative pin board to display all the gingerbread pins appropriately resembles a cookie sheet.

EPCOT Holiday Pins and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

EPCOT holiday pins continue the style of a similar collection released last year. The preview included designs for France, the United States, Norway, and the United Kingdom, each featuring Mickey and friends in festive attire.

The Whimsical Wreaths collection includes smaller character wreaths, Walt Disney World and Disneyland ear-hat designs, and a large wreath presentation featuring several circular pins.

Disney also revealed “Vile Vines and Villains,” a Halloween collection depicting villains gathered around pumpkins and twisting vines. Characters represented include Ursula, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Jafar, Captain Hook, Scar, Hades, Gaston, Yzma, and several other modern and classic animated antagonists.

Release dates, prices, edition sizes, and specific retail locations were not announced during the presentation. Disney is already offering a sizable pin assortment at D23, including limited-edition stained-glass-style character pins.

Disney Pin Trading officially began at Walt Disney World in October 1999 as part of the resort’s Millennium Celebration. What began as a limited event offering developed into a longstanding Disney Parks tradition involving open-edition releases, limited-edition collectibles, mystery sets, and pins created specifically for trading with Cast Members. D23 has a brief official history of the program.

Disney is using virtual queues for both locations, with standby access potentially opening after boarding groups have been accommodated. We previously previewed 15 limited-edition stained-glass-style D23 pins and shared a broader guide to shopping at D23.
