The Avengers: Doomsday trailer has been rebuilt brick-by-brick by Marvel Studios in a new official LEGO recreation.
Avengers: Doomsday LEGO Trailer
In a playful marketing move, Marvel shared the LEGO-styled trailer for Avengers: Doomsday on August 24. The LEGO trailer is a shot-for-shot recreation of the first official Avengers: Doomsday trailer using LEGO minifigures and environments while retaining the original trailer’s audio mix.
As with the proper Doomsday trailer, the video opens with an ominous monologue, claiming that “Something’s coming.” With the world facing an unprecedented threat, the heroes must confront an “unthinkable decision” and prepare for a battle more terrifying than any they have faced before.
LEGO versions of Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, X-Men, and many other Marvel heroes appear throughout the recreation, mirroring the sequences of the original live-action trailer.
The rest of the trailer proceeds with fiery sequences of the multiversal minifigure heroes clashing, closing on the countdown to the next major Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover.
“Counting down to Doomsday, brick by brick,” the video’s description reads.
