Menu

Over at the Hops & Barley Booth, you’ll find a variety of available items. There are two returning festival favorites here, including Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll and the Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake. There is also a new Smoked Brisket and Cheddar Melt. There are a few new beers here you can try, including Harpoon Brewery Southie Lager and Allagash Brewing Company Haunted House Hoppy Dark Ale.

2026 Hops & Barley Menu

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

First up, we grabbed the Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll with Warm-Water Lobster, Rock Shrimp, Lobster Bisque, and Sherry-Crème Fraîche on a Toasted Brioche Bun for $8.99. This item is one of the 30th Anniversary Legacy Items. In 2025, this item was at the Flavors of America booth and it was INCREDIBLE! It was so perfectly meaty, with an amazing amount of lobster for the price. The shrimp was also incredible, and the lobster bisque was herbaceous.

Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll

This year, the bun was the star, as was the butter on the side! The bread was so fluffy and soft, and the butter helped balance out the fishy taste of the seafood filling.

Next, we grabbed the new Smoked Brisket and Cheddar Melt for $6.49. This is a Chopped Smoked Brisket, Caramelized Onions, Tangy Barbecue, and Cheddar Sauce on a Potato Roll.

Finally, for dessert, we tried the returning Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake with Kentucky Bourbon Caramel for $4.99. This item was also at the Flavors of America booth in 2025, and we loved it then! We thought that the cake is really dense and super chocolatey while being rich in flavor.

Drinks

In terms of drinks on this menu, we got the new Harpoon Brewery Southie Lager from Boston for $6.00 for a 6 oz pour, or you can get a 12 oz pour for $9.75. We thought this was strong and alcohol-forward from the first sip, with a pronounced and bitter pine taste that was quite earthy. There’s a smidge of fruitiness to balance, but not much.

You can also grab a Samuel Adams Boston Brick Red Irish Red Ale from Boston, MA. You can get a 6 oz pour for $6.00 or 12 oz pour for $9.75. This wasn’t quite as strong as the Lager, but it was still noticeably alcohol-forward. It leaned into apple notes and was smoother and easier to drink, as it was the least bitter of the three.

Sam Adams Bright Red Irish Ale

There is also the new Allagash Brewing Company Haunted House Hoppy Dark Ale, Portland, ME, $6.00 to $9.75. It was also quite strong, and it’s a darker ale with a decent amount of bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste. This has the deepest and most robust flavor profile.

You can try all three beers for $12.75 with a Beer Flight.

That’s all for this booth, how did it stack up?
