The Evil Dead franchise returns to Halloween Horror Nights, this time with a house based on Evil Dead Burn.

An infernal force has taken hold of a family home, and it’s hungry for its next victim. Dodge Deadites hell-bent on bloodshed in this haunted house based on the new film, Evil Dead Burn.
Guests enter the story at the site of the car crash that killed Alice’s husband Will. The Deadite versions of Edgar and the family dog Max greet guests from a gazebo. On the ground is the cackling head of Deadite Jessica.
In a space inspired by the Necronomicon, incantations appear on the walls and Deadites reach out from boo holes.
Arriving at a shed outside the Price family home, guests are attacked by a Max animatronic breaking through a window. Alice Price defends herself with shears. Another Deadite distracts guests through a window as Edgar leaps out from the shadows.
Inside the house, the elderly Polly Price, as a Deadite, is on her stairlift. Deadite Thya taunts guest Joseph Price in the kitchen.
Deadite Polly attacks before Alice kills her with a hedge trimmer in the bathroom. In the dining room, guests pass the dead body of Thya as Deadites of Edgar and Susan reach for guests. Flashing red lights indicate the house is beginning to burn.
Guests head outside the house, where a charred Deadite Will attacks Alice. But she gets the upper hand and kills him with a jackhammer.
Location
Evil Dead Burn is in the H-Lot South on the Lower Lot. The entrance is at one end of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Evil Dead Franchise
The Evil Dead series began with The Evil Dead (1981), written and directed by Sam Raimi. Raimi co-wrote and directed the next two films, and produced a 2013 reboot. This was followed by Evil Dead Rise in 2023, then Evil Dead Burn in 2026.
Evil Dead Burn was directed by Sébastien Vaniček, and co-written by Vaniček with Florent Bernard. Raimi and Rob Tapert produced.
The film follows Souheila Yacoub as Alice Price, who seeks solace with her in-laws after the death of her husband at a secluded house. However, members of the family (including Alice’s late husband) gradually turn into Deadites.
In addition to Yacoub, the film stars Tandi Wright as Susan Price, Hunter Doohan as Joseph Price, Luciane Buchanan as Thya, Erroll Shand as Edgar Price, Maude Davey as Polly Price, and George Pullar as William Price.
The Evil Dead franchise first joined Halloween Horror Nights for HHN Sweet 16 (2006) as part of the show Sweet 16: The Director’s Cut. It’s since been included in several experiences and houses. The last Evil Dead house in Orlando was Ash vs. Evil Dead in 2017 while Evil Dead Rise was a house at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023.
