The former Treasures of Poseidon gift shop in The Lost Continent is now behind construction walls at Universal Islands of Adventure.

Crews have moved the construction walls forward to now block the gift shop, taking up a little bit more of the walkway. Though the gift shop closed permanently earlier this year, it has not been behind construction walls until now. Treasures of Poseidon will be demolished, just like Poseidon’s Fury.

Across from Treasures of Poseidon, the walls next to Mythos have moved back a bit, giving guests as much space as possible. Crews removed a snack stand and trees from this area.

Mythos will permanently close next year, and Thunder Falls Terrace in Jurassic Park will become a full-service restaurant to fill the gap.

Universal has not announced what will replace The Lost Continent.
