A Longwood man has been arrested after he was reportedly caught “acting lewdly” near the Oviedo Mall over the weekend, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
In an arrest report, a deputy said he responded to 820 Oviedo Mall Blvd. on Sunday around 8 p.m. after getting a call about a man in the Target store parking lot.
Per the report, the caller claimed the man was wearing a “teal G-string and white tennis shoes” while touching himself outside of his car.
Upon arrival, the deputy said he found the man — identified as Nicholas Lydic, 41 — who spoke with him about what happened.
“Nicholas stated that he was outside his car changing because he got wet,” the report reads. “When I asked about him masturbating or wearing the G-string, he said he didn’t know what I was talking about.”
After a show-up, though, Lydic was taken into custody and now faces a charge of indecent exposure of sexual organs.
Furthermore, the deputy reported that he discovered some strange goods in Lydic’s vehicle.
“While doing inventory of Nicholas’s vehicle, I found a backpack full of women’s underwear, as well as multiple butt plugs,” the report continues. “When asking Nicholas about the underwear, he stated that he had purchased them all himself.”
The deputy wrote that Lydic also had a prior conviction from last year for exposure of sexual organs out of Volusia County.
