Here at Disney Food Blog, we follow Disney news all around the world. Typically, we update you on Disney World and Disneyland, but we can’t forget about all the exciting news and experiences in the International Parks as well.
And today, we are diving into some fun experiences coming to Tokyo DisneySea and Hong Kong Disneyland!
We love visiting and experiencing the unique joy, wonder, and fun of the Disney Parks around the world, and if you are visiting these two parks, you can expect some new and exciting experiences. Starting first with Hong Kong Disneyland. If you have a trip planned soon, then get ready to celebrate Halloween in style because the Disney Halloween Time kicked off on September 18th.
According to a press release, “Disney Villains are officially taking over the area, transforming the resort into the ultimate playground for friends and family to gather and dress up together. Packed with wicked fun from new and returning favorites, this year’s celebration offers more ways than ever to share the fun.”
Guests can expect to find the following at this year’s event:
- The new “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Adventure”
- An expanded “Uninvited! A Villain’s Takeover Party”
- Villain Hour encounters
- The return of “Let’s Get Wicked”
- Seasonal character experiences
- Special dining
- Exclusive merchandise
- Hotel activities
If you visit the castle stage, you can watch the brand-new show, Mickey’s Happy Halloween Adventure. This will feature some of your favorite characters, including Mickey and the gang, some pals from the Hundred Acre Wood, and even some of Duffy’s friends in adorable Halloween outfits. In this show, you “set off on a whimsical journey through an enchanted pumpkin patch in search of the ultimate Halloween magic…discover that the true magic of Halloween lies in sharing joyful moments together, sparking a lively celebration of music, friendship, and dance.”All of these Halloween festivities run September 18th through November 1st, so if you are visiting during that window, make sure to take advantage of all the specialty entertainment, food, merchandise, and more!
Now, the Tokyo DisneySea news is happening a little further down the road, as they just announced that a new show will be coming to the park next year! This new show, called “Bring The Rhythm,” is set to premiere in 2027 at the Broadway Music Theatre in Tokyo DisneySea, located in the American Waterfront area of the park.
Tokyo Disney has shared that this 25-minute show “combines stunning performances and dazzling theatrical production in a new stage show that traverses the streets of the Big City. Drawing inspiration from the lively, celebrated style of Broadway.” The show will also feature a selection of Disney characters as well as live vocals, music, dancers, and visual effects. This show already seems like it will be an amazing addition to this incredible park.
