It’s no secret that Magic Kingdom food is typically VERY disappointing. In fact, many people say it has the worst food offerings across any of the Disney World parks.
The Diamond Horseshoe
However, a brand-new pop-up restaurant experience opens in Magic Kingdom in just one week. So we will see if the new Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up will break Magic Kingdom’s bad food curse.
The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up officially opens to guests on October 4th, with reservations opening on September 29th. This is a limited-time pop-up experience available for the fall at the Diamond Horseshoe.

This restaurant has undergone many changes over the past few months, closing in May to be transformed into Jessie’s Roundup for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER.

Now, the restaurant is currently closed as it is being transformed into the cowboy-themed pop-up guests can visit for the fall season. This new menu is full of “frontier fare” and looks to be a very interesting addition to the park.

Here is a look at everything you can find on this special pop-up menu:
Small Plates
- Charcuterie: Made with cured beef, candied bacon, smoked pork, green chile cheese, smoked cheddar, and pickles.
- Glazed Sticky Ribs: Served with cowboy beans and jalapeño crisps.
- Queso Fundido with Barbecue Burnt Ends: Served with warm tortilla chips.
- Sweet Golden Corn Fritters: With cilantro ranch dressing and red chili honey.
- Chipotle Chicken Tostada: With queso fresco, lime crema, and pickled cactus salsa.
- Mini Hot Dog Platter: Made with hot dogs wrapped in pastry, served with tortilla chips and a side of queso.

Non-Alcoholic Specialty Beverages
- Orange Cream Soda: Fanta Orange with vanilla and cream.
- Caramel Root Beer with Sweet Cream: Root Beer with caramel and sweet cream.
- Enchanting Ember Lemonade: Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, strawberry, and hot honey.
- Enchanted Grove Lime Splash: Minute Maid Limeade, cucumber, and mint.

Cocktails
- Whinnyin’ Whiskey Lemonade: Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Aperol liqueur, strawberry purée, Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, and basil.
- Cactus Rose Margarita: LALO Blanco Tequila, prickly pear, lime, and agave.
- High Plains Huckleberry: 44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka, crème de cassis liqueur, lemon juice, and cranberry.
- Rattler Rum Punch: Bacardí Superior Rum, orange, pineapple, lime, and passion fruit
,garnished with a sweet-and-spicy rim. - Coal’d Fashioned: Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, cinnamon syrup, orange bitters, and Angostura bitters.
- In Holiday Fashion: Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, rosemary syrup, cranberry, and cinnamon.

Just based on the descriptions and photos, we are already VERY excited to try out this new menu and visit an all-new pop-up experience in Magic Kingdom. This kind of limited-time offering is not typical for Magic Kingdom, but we love seeing Disney use the spaces they already have to provide guests with new, unique, and fun offerings. Plus, we really hope this means there will be some great new food and drink options available in Magic Kingdom.
