Whenever an airline adds routes, that’s pretty big news. When six airlines add more nonstop flights? Talk about earth-shattering! Six major airlines are adding nonstop flights all over the world, and we’re giving you all the deets!

United Airlines

United Airlines is adding nonstop routes in 10 international cities as early as March 2027. This expansion is the largest in United Airlines’ history and will feature its newest international aircraft — the ‘Born to Explore’ A321XLR. This plane will fly to Japan, France, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, and Slovenia. Additionally, it’s worth noting that United will be the only domestic airline to fly nonstop to France, Luxembourg, and Spain.

These routes are as follows:

• San Francisco (SFO) to: Okinawa, Japan
• Washington Dulles (IAD) to: Toulouse, France
• Newark (EWR) to: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
• Newark (EWR) to: Marseille, France
• Newark (EWR) to: Ibiza, Spain
• Newark (EWR) to: Valencia, Spain
• Newark (EWR) to: Terceira, Portugal
• Newark (EWR) to: Ljubljana, Slovenia
• Newark (EWR) to: Olbia (Sardinia), Italy
• Newark (EWR) to: Catania (Sicily), Italy

Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines is currently launching 11 new nonstop flights!

The first wave of flights debuted on September 10th, 2026, and consisted of four nonstop routes per week between Las Vegas and Boise. On October 9th, 2026, Frontier will add a nonstop route between Nashville and Tampa, followed by three more daily service routes on November 20th, 2026, between Denver and Fort Lauderdale, and Detroit and Los Angeles. Kansas City to Orlando will also get four flights per week on the same day. On November 21st, 2026, the airline will add a direct route from Ontario, California, to Oakland, California.

Frontier also added some holiday season-exclusive flights, including Houston to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Los Angeles to Guatemala City from December 17th, 2026, through January 4th, 2027. Occurring on Saturdays from December 19th, 2026, through early January 2027, Frontier will offer routes from Dallas-Fort Worth to San José, Costa Rica.

Frontier Airlines is also expanding its international operations with nonstop routes to South America from Orlando starting in December. Flights will connect to the following:

• Medellín (Daily service begins December 10th)
• Bogotá (Daily service begins December 14th)
• Cartagena (Weekly service begins December 19th)

American Airlines

American Airlines will offer eight new international nonstop routes in 2027!

The flights are as follows:

• Chicago (ORD) to Tokyo (NRT) starting March 19th, 2027
• New York (JFK) to Amsterdam (AMS) starting March 28th, 2027
• Philadelphia (PHL) to Porto, Portugal (OPO) starting March 28th, 2027
• JFK to London Heathrow (LHR) starting March 28th, 2027 (adding a fourth daily flight)
• JFK to Nice, France (NCE) starting May 6th, 2027
• PHL to Vienna (VIE) starting May 6th, 2027 (The only domestic airline offering a nonstop route to Vienna)
• PHL to Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF) starting May 27th, 2027
• Charlotte (CLT) to Barcelona (BCN) starting May 27th, 2027

Allegiant Air

Allegiant is also in the process of adding 11 new nonstop routes!

Allegiant at Orlando Sanford Airport

The new routes are as follows:

• Two nonstop flights from Flint Bishop International Airport (FNT) to Orlando International Airport (MCO) — Already active
• Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to MCO starting February 10th, 2027
• Grand Forks International Airport (GFK) and the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) from February 10th through April 17th, 2027
• Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to SFB from February 13th through April 24th, 2027
• BOS to Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) from February 13th through April 24th, 2027
• BOS to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) from February 13th through April 24th, 2027
• Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) from February 13th through April 24th, 2027
• Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to SFB from February 13th through April 24th, 2027
• PVD to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) from February 13th through April 24th, 2027
• FLL to Portsmouth International Airport (PSM) from February 20th to May 1st, 2027

Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines will add four new nonstop routes from Las Vegas starting in March 2027.

Flights will connect to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Miami International Airport (MIA), and McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Delta Airlines

Delta Airlines is adding four nonstop routes starting on October 23rd, 2026.

The airline will launch a new nonstop service between Atlanta and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia — marking the first nonstop offering by a domestic airline.

Vegas is also getting some more love with the following international flights in 2027:

• Hong Kong (HKG) to Las Vegas (LAS) starting January 4th (inbound) and January 10th (outbound)
• Taipei (TPE) to LAS — January 5th (inbound) and January 10th (outbound)

Additionally, the airline is expanding flights between Vegas and Austin (AUS) to twice-daily service.
