Walt Disney World is turning up the holiday volume this season, giving two popular thrill rides brand-new festive soundtracks starting next month.
At EPCOT, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is swapping its signature save-the-galaxy soundtrack for three seasonal tracks from Nov. 25 through Jan. 6.
A randomly selected song greets riders each time — choosing from “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra or “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses.
The holiday playlist drops just in time for EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, running Nov. 27 through Dec. 30.
Meanwhile, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Electric Mayhem is taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets with the “Obligatory Holiday Overlay,” running Nov. 4 through Jan. 6.
The holiday mayhem starts in the courtyard with festive holiday music. Inside, the whole band is deep in rehearsals and “a few familiar Muppets friends stop by the studio to offer a helping hand… or at least try to”.
As for the ride itself, the limited-time experience features four new holiday tracks:
- “Holiday Road” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear
- “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson
- “Silver Bells” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Cyndi Lauper
- “Little Saint Nick” – The Electric Mayhem
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets reopened May 26, bringing a full Muppet makeover to the classic thrill ride.
Guests arrive at G-Force Records for a VIP studio tour, only to find The Electric Mayhem still jamming while a concert crowd waits across town — with Scooter, the attraction’s first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure, scrambling to get the band there on time.
Lilypad jams holidays

The holiday music isn’t slowing down with coasters.
Also at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, DJ Lilypad — the frog-shaped smart tablet from Toy Story 5 who made her Toy Story Land debut in September — is spinning a festive playlist at Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams from Nov. 4 through Jan. 6.
Holiday takes on classics like “Deck the Halls” and original tracks like “Joy to the Swirl”, “Toyland,” and “Swirling, Swirling, Saucers” round out a season full of music across the parks.
