Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy a.k.a. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Disneyland Paris suffered a malfunction this weekend, causing at least one group of guests to ride the whole attraction backwards.

Content creator magickingdan (Dan) shared a video of himself on the Ratatouille ride on Sunday, October 11, 2026. His rat ride vehicle somehow got stuck facing away from all the screens.

His text on the video reads, “POV: but your Ratatouille ride vehicle is facing the wrong way”. He added in the caption, “Great ride, saw nothing”.

One commenter said the same thing had happened to them once. The malfunction is possible because Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a trackless ride. If something goes wrong with the programming, the vehicles might not turn when they’re supposed to. Thankfully, the malfunction did not cause any danger.

Another commenter said the ride was down for two hours on Sunday, possibly due to this issue.

Dan said that Cast Members apologized and gave his party line skip passes to ride again but they instead gave the passes to a family.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened at Walt Disney Studios Park (now Disney Adventure World) in 2014. Originally in 3D, it was converted to 2D and received new set pieces earlier this year. Watch our ride POV below.

A second version of the attraction opened at EPCOT in Walt Disney World in 2021. It similarly converted to 2D and got new props this year.
