The moisture tail left behind from Isaias has finally exited Central Florida. In its place is much drier air that will lower rain chances, humidity, and even temperatures, a tad!
Tonight
Drier air starts filtering into Central Florida from the northwest overnight. We will keep mostly cloudy skies for the evening hours, with gradual clearing skies overnight and into Monday morning. A light northwest wind will help to lower humidity and temperatures. Lows will dip into the lower 70s for many of our neighborhoods. Some areas in Marion County will see lows in the upper 60s!
Monday
Dry air will be in full effect by Monday, leaving for mostly sunny skies and lower humidity values. We will call Monday comfortably warm as highs hit the upper 80s, however, humidity values will keep “feels like” temperatures around the upper 80s to low 90s.
The Week Ahead
Dry air sticks around through the middle part of the week, leaving rain chances axed out of the forecast through Wednesday. Moisture begins to slowly increase by the end of the week. For Thursday and Friday it will just be in the form of slightly higher humidity. By the weekend rain chances return as moisture continues to increase as a cold front approaches from the north.
