Central Florida hangs onto dry air for one more day before rain chances slip back into the forecast to end the week and start the weekend.
Tonight
Mostly clear skies and comfortable conditions will be enjoyed once again this evening. With an onshore ENE wind, we will have a few fair-weather clouds rolling in and out of our skies and humidity will be a touch higher this evening. Dry conditions will prevail overnight and into Thursday morning with lows dropping down into the low-mid 70s.
Thursday
A dry and partly cloudy day is once again on tap for much of Central Florida Thursday. With moisture gradually moving northward from the south, rain chances will slowly creep into areas south of the Orlando Metro, mainly southern Brevard and Osceola counties. Rain chances will only be isolated to spotty. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to low 90s.
Friday
We are on front watch as a cold front will begin moving into northern Florida on Friday. Ahead of this front, moisture and instability will increase over our area, providing for a better chance of showers and storms Friday afternoon. Highs will once again hit the low 90s.
This Weekend
The aforementioned cold front will cross over Central Florida during the day Saturday, once again bringing a good chance for storms for early Saturday afternoon. Once this front crosses, winds will really begin to pick up for late Saturday and into Sunday out of the NNE. This will rough up the surf and help to drag cooler, drier air back into the area. Some areas will wake up to the 60s by Sunday morning. Highs will only climb into the upper 70s to low 80s.
