A freight train struck a pedestrian Thursday, blocking several railroad crossings in northeast Ocala, police said.

The crossings at NE 8th Avenue, NE 19th Avenue, and NE 25th Avenue were blocked Thursday morning. Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes.

Police are investigating the incident.
