Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney expanded to three more Walt Disney World resorts today. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside now offer the service, which brings the program to nine participating hotels. Disney says the addition gives more eligible Guests access to the service. Here’s the latest.
Airport Luggage Transfer Expands to Coronado Springs and Port Orleans Resorts

The service transfers checked luggage between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the resort. It is open to Guests at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels who fly eligible domestic flights. Three new resorts join six hotels already in the program.
The expansion comes about ten weeks after Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort joined the program on August 18th. That made it the first Moderate Resort on the list. Until then, the list covered only the five Value Resorts. Those resorts joined when Disney officially named the service in April 2025. Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside are also Moderate Resorts. That means all four Moderate Resorts now take part. Deluxe Resorts are not on Disney’s list yet.
Nine Resorts and Four Airlines Are Eligible
Disney lists nine participating resorts, five Value and four Moderate. Guests must check in or out of one of them to use the service.
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort & Gran Destino Tower
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
The service covers Guests flying American Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, or United Airlines. JetBlue became the fourth carrier on September 24th. Disney says additional airlines could be added soon.
How Airport Luggage Transfer Works
Arriving Guests register online anytime from 30 days to one day before their flight. Registration requires a Disney Resort confirmation number and a flight confirmation number. Anyone who registers more than seven days ahead receives luggage tags in the mail. Later registrants get no tags but still have their bags delivered. Guests check in online and hand bags to the airline as usual. Then they skip baggage claim at MCO and head straight to Walt Disney World. Disney says bags can take up to four hours after the flight arrives to reach the resort. Guests pick them up from Luggage Assistance/Bell Services in the lobby area. They can also call from the in-room phone to have bags brought to the room. The service is complimentary, but does not cover gratuities.
Departing Guests check in online starting 24 hours before takeoff. They pay any baggage fees through their airline. Guests drop bags at Luggage Assistance between 24 hours and four hours before the flight. Disney requires a valid government-issued photo ID and a boarding pass at drop-off. From there, Guests head to the airport and skip the check-in line. They pick up their bags at baggage claim at their final destination. The service covers domestic flights only.
Disney recommends keeping these items in a carry-on:
- Medications
- Electronics such as laptops, tablets, power banks and cameras
- Perishable or heat-sensitive items
- Important documents such as passports and travel itineraries
