At the D23 Entertainment Showcase, Angel was confirmed for the live-action Lilo & Stitch 2.

The photo showed the top of her head. Angel, also known as Experiment 624, is a major character in the Lilo & Stitch franchise and is Stitch’s love interest.

Live-Action ‘Lilo & Stitch 2’

Lilo & Stitch 2 has been in development since June 2025 and will release in theaters on May 26, 2028. The sequel will be a brand-new story.

The live-action Lilo & Stitch was directed by Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the Shell With Shoes On) and written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. Jonathan Eirich, who produced the live-action remake, also returns as producer for the sequel. Ryan Halprin will be executive producer.

Chris Sanders, who co-created, co-wrote, and co-directed the original animated Lilo & Stitch film, and voiced Stitch in both the animated and live-action movies, will also be directing Lilo & Stitch 2.
