Max Goof is once again ready to “Stand Out” at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but his Powerline-inspired dance party has moved off Main Street, U.S.A. for this year’s event.

Max Goof Pre-Parade Converted to Stage Show

During the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season, we found Max performing with his Powerline Party Pack on a stationary stage in Adventureland. Max wears his familiar yellow Powerline-inspired outfit from A Goofy Movie, while his backup dancers sport brightly colored, distinctly ’90s costumes.

The new presentation marks a significant change from the version performed during the 2025 parties. Last year, Max and his dancers appeared on Main Street, U.S.A. shortly before Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, moving through the street as a roaming pre-parade dance party.

The Powerline offering itself dates back to 2022, when Max debuted the costume at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and periodically performed with dancers on Main Street, U.S.A. We covered Max’s original Powerline appearances here.

For 2026, the mobile element has apparently been removed in favor of a conventional stage performance in Adventureland. Our photos show Max and four dancers performing together across the pirate-themed stage, with the show no longer requiring guests to wait along Main Street or the parade route to catch the group passing by.

Max’s Powerline look references the climax of the 1995 animated film A Goofy Movie, in which Max dresses like pop superstar Powerline and eventually joins his father, Goofy, onstage during the singer’s concert.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights at Magic Kingdom through October 31.
