Guests staying at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge had to be moved to other resorts due to a water outage.
Boulder Ridge Water Outage

The water issues began around 8 p.m. (possibly earlier) on Saturday, August 8. Guests on Reddit and other social media reported sinks, showers, and toilets in their rooms had little to no water pressure. At first, Disney advised guests to use public facilities and distributed bottled water in the lobby.
The issue was not resolved on Sunday so guests were relocated to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Disney is issuing partial Disney Vacation Club point refunds and potentially cash refunds.
Disney has not shared a timeline for the water to be fixed.
This is the second major problem for Disney’s Wilderness Lodge this summer. The resort was plagued with air conditioning problems in mid to late June.
An evacuation took place on July 1 for unknown reasons.
The exterior of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has been undergoing refurbishment for the past several months.
