Pixar is officially diving into the supernatural with their very first ghost movie: Ghost Market. It arrives in theaters in Spring 2028.

Ghost Market Announced

We learned the storyline involves a mysterious hidden market in Hawaii, crossing the living and the dead.

The teaser video explains it’s a movie about hungry ghosts, a lot of crazy stuff happens, but it’s not like other scary movies that cause nightmares.

The character in the teaser looks over his shoulder, exclaiming “it’s back!” before dropping the camera and running away.

Take a look at announcements for Incredibles 3 and Coco 2.

We’ve also already gotten a preview of character designs for other upcoming Disney films, including Bucket the cat in Disney’s Hexed; Saverio, the pigeon companion of Nero the cat in Pixar’s Gatto; and the updated outfits for Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven for Frozen 3.
