We’re not there just yet, but Central Florida is about to get a little taste of it.

After a few more stormy and humid days, a cool front will move through Thursday, bringing drier air, lower humidity and cooler mornings just in time for the weekend.

The front will bring another round of showers and storms Thursday, with rain chances around 50% to 70%.

By Friday, rain chances drop as drier air begins filtering into Central Florida.

The biggest change will be noticeable in the humidity.

Dew points will fall into the 60s this weekend, making the air feel much more comfortable.

High temperatures will still climb into the 80s, but overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s, especially inland.

That means some of us could wake up to temperatures in the 60s for the first time in a while.

The comfortable weather is expected to stick around into early next week, with winds easing Sunday.

It’s not a true change of seasons just yet, but after weeks of heat, humidity and daily storms, this little taste of fall should feel pretty good.
