Displayed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is a model of the new Indiana Jones ride’s temple facade, as well as photos of the facade under construction and a look inside the attraction. The new ride is a reimagining of DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Indiana Jones Ride Model

The model is a more detailed look at the Maya temple that was revealed in concept art for the attraction. It’s adorned with various creature heads and painted with colorful elements.

Steps leading up to the proper temple will not be accessible to guests, who will enter through the side of the building.

In the ride’s story, Indy has gone into the temple to learn about stories of a mythical creature.

A screen cycled through different video clips of Imagineers working on the real temple facade. The temple is sculpted but mostly unpainted.

It will presumably be transported to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in pieces and then installed on the framework outside the show building.

This clip showed a more advanced portion of the temple with yellow and pink paint over weathered details.

Here is a look at the framework from the ground. The Dino Institute is behind the temple but stripped of any dinosaur theming.

A few clips went inside the attraction. Though these don’t reveal much more than steel work and scaffolding, we can see some rock walls.

The ride system and track will remain the same but the scenery will be completely different.
