Good afternoon from day one of the D23 Expo, where we’re taking a look at the future of the Disney theme parks. At a panel discussing the recently opened Walt Disney Studios Lot area at Hollywood Studios, Imagineers offered a first look at the Olaf audio-animatronic coming to the park. The audio-animatronic will be the standout feature of Olaf Draws. Here’s a sneak peek!
First Look at Olaf Animatronic
The all-new Olaf Audio-Animatronic will follow along as a pre-recorded video of Disney animators lead the class, drawing a variety of characters. Little ones will be able to sit up front in sleds, while adults can enjoy more traditional desks.
Beyond the sneak peek at Olaf, Imagineers offered a sneak peek at other areas, including the Mary Blair-inspired Alice in Wonderland playground, an animators desk that comes alive with magic and Easter Eggs, and the entrance to the experience.
The Magic of Disney Animation opens September 14th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
