2027 Banana Ball Open at The ESPN Wide World of Sports
The Banana Ball Open is coming to Walt Disney World, with ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex set to host the tournament April 15–18, 2027.
The Banana Ball Open is a tournament within the Banana Ball Championship League calendar that offers teams an early opportunity to secure a playoff berth. All six Banana Ball teams will attend the 2027 Open, with four teams competing to win the tournament and secure an automatic spot in the season-ending playoffs, regardless of their subsequent record.
Disney and Banana Ball
The Banana Ball Open is only the latest move in the ongoing partnership between Disney and the increasingly popular new sport of Banana Ball, an especially entertaining take on baseball. The games are limited to two hours long, and the players participate in dance routines, comedy sketches, and other gags during the game.
On October 10, 2026, the Banana Bowl, the post-season event for Banana Ball, streamed exclusively on Disney+.
Disneyland hosted its second annual Savannah Bananas Day on March 26, 2026, featuring fan meet-and-greets, dance numbers, merchandise, and a special cavalcade.
On May 29 and 30, Banana Ball games were held between the Party Animals and the new Loco Beach Coconuts at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.
Fans wanting to secure seats for next season’s games must enter the Ticket Lottery List before it closes at 11:50 p.m. EST on Halloween night, October 31.
Joining this list does not guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets, but it will enter you into a random drawing that takes place before the event for the chance to purchase available tickets. If your name is drawn, you will be communicated with directly to learn more about your next steps.
Join the Ticket Lottery at BananaBall.com; standard tickets start at $35 when you purchase them from the site. Meet and Greet tickets start at $100 each, with no hidden fees and no tax.
