The Disney Experiences Auction – Rare and Remarkable Finds

There are queues and a wristband system for accessing the in-person auction room. The live auction will be Sunday, August 16, hosted by Bret Iwan. Fans can also bid on the items online.

Inside, there is a retail checkout counter and a showroom of auction items.

Purchase As-Is

We're at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where fans can participate in an auction of authentic Disney Parks props.

Select items are available for purchase outright. These include props, pins, and artwork. The selection will change each day.

Disney emphasizes that these items are sold as-is. Unlike collectibles available in the park, you can’t actually see its condition until after you buy it. There’s no recourse or refunds if the item is broken.

Items include a limited release The Disney Experiences Auction pin featuring Arthur and Merlin from The Sword in the Stone. This is $29.95.

A Sword in the Stone medallion from Disneyland is available for $99.

Artwork is from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Cabins.

The “Bug-Eye” 3D glasses from It’s Tough to be a Bug are $49.99. Animator’s Palate centerpieces from Disney Cruise Line are $150. And a Disney 100 lamppost medallion is $399.

In-bidding is available at the register at the end of the showroom. The live auction will be at 5:30 p.m. on August 16.

A pair of park-used Big Thunder Mountain Railroad benches have been converted into stationary seating.

These were both used at Magic Kingdom from 2016 to 2025.

There’s a Tomorrowland trash can that was used in Disneyland Park in the 2000s.

A Goofy’s Candy Company rug from Disney Springs is available.

From MuppetVision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are statues of Miss Piggy and Kermit, plus a 3D glasses crate.

Signs and banners originate from Disney Fest, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Disneyland 50th celebration, Tomorrowland, and Spaceship Earth.

A mummy is from Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland. It was part of the attraction from 1995 to the 2020s.

Pair the mummy with a sarcophagus from The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.

From Aloha Isle at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a tall table and a pair of chairs.

Miss the old Disney California Adventure? Among the items is a display from the defunct Treasures in Paradise store and two animal seats from King Triton’s Carousel.

Other wall art is from the 100 Years of Magic Celebration and 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. The giant key is from a Disney Store display.

The space features The Sword in the Stone murals and a photo op, but these are not for sale.
