We've got a new look at Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore, the original character coming to Piston Peak National Park at Magic Kingdom.

The original character is named Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore, which is a Cars-appropriate play on Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore. He first appeared in the “fun map.”

As noted in the photo below, his ranger hat has “four dents” and there is a canvas in the bed of his truck covering supplies. He has a visor for his thick brows and eyeglass handles that connect to mirrors.

His tires are small to match his small feet.

Ranger Woodlore (the human version) is mostly found in cartoons featuring Humphrey the Bear, and his first appearance was in a 1954 Donald Duck short called “Grin and Bear It.” Woodlore is a ranger at the Brownstone National Park.

Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore is a ranger at Piston Peak National Park and will be seen in the queue for the main attraction, where guests participate in an off-road rally. He will appear in a Ranger Room, where he will be an Audio Animatronic figure.

While guests queue, Woodlore will provide key story details such as the lore of Piston Peak and an explanation for why guests are racing through the Rocky Mountain-inspired wilderness that day.

Read all about the goat-carts, check out the Piston Peak model, learn more about the second attraction, and get a closer look at the ride vehicles for the off-road rally race.
