Spider-Man fans have some new robotic companions to add to their collections at Disneyland Resort.
Venom Spider Bot – $99.99
The Venom Spider Bot features a features a black-and-white color scheme with Venom-like markings across its shell. Its large white eyes and toothy grin give it a distinct appearance, while a pink tongue sticks out from underneath its face.
The Spider-Bot has eight articulated legs and is designed for interactive play. It comes with a 2.4 GHz remote control that allows guests to control its movement.
The packaging also highlights several of its interactive features, including remote-controlled 360-degree movement, a crouching function, light-up eyes, sounds, and a projector shield.
The included remote has controls for movement, digital motor functions, crouching, sound, and the projector shield. The packaging also shows the Spider-Bot engaging in battles with another Spider-Bot and using tactical upgrades.
The Venom version is marked as a limited edition of 5,000 on the box, making it particularly interesting for Spider-Bot collectors.
Blue Spider Bot – $39.99
Joining the Venom design is a much brighter variant: a translucent blue Spider-Bot.
The entire robot is molded in transparent blue plastic, giving it an almost holographic appearance. The translucent shell allows guests to see some of the mechanical details underneath, while the eyes light up when the toy is activated.
Unlike the Venom version, this Spider-Bot is a simpler toy focused on lights and motorized movement. An on/off button is located on the top of the Spider-Bot, while the eyes illuminate when the toy is powered on.
The blue version’s packaging identifies it as a limited release, though it does not indicate a production number like the Venom edition.
Both Spider Bots were spotted at WEB Suppliers in Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort.
Earlier this month, we spotted a Spider-Man-themed Spider-Bot alongside new Marvel merchandise, including Spider-Man UNO, at Avengers Reserve in the Downtown Disney District. That version features a red-and-blue design inspired by Spider-Man’s suit and was priced at $29.99.
