Rain chances remain elevated through Tuesday as a cold front over our area keeps our atmosphere unsettled.

Tuesday

Spotty early morning showers along the coastline are possible Tuesday, especially for Flagler and northern Volusia counties, thanks to our northeast onshore flow. This flow will help to spark sea breeze storms right around lunchtime, hovering mostly over Flagler, Volusia, and Seminole counties. Rain chances continue to fan out and push southwest as the afternoon rolls on. By mid-afternoon, showers and storms will hone in on the Orlando metro and I-4 corridor. These storms will linger through the afternoon commute home. We will start to see drier conditions after sunset. High temperatures will hit the low 90s.

Mid-Week

As the work week rolls on, a ridge of high pressure in the mid levels of the atmosphere will begin to build in towards Florida. This will help to slowly lower rain chances back to a typical sea breeze scattered storm pattern. Highs will remain in the low 90s for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
