Trailing moisture behind the remnants of Isaias continues to flow over Central Florida, allowing for one more day of scattered downpours before a wonderful work week surprise!
Saturday
Scattered showers and storms will continue to wind down after sunset. By 10pm, most of the showers and storms will be well to our north and east. An isolated shower is possible through midnight before dry conditions prevail overnight. Rain chances start to pick up in Marion County Sunday morning as a broken line of showers and storms associated with this trailing moisture begins to move in from the north and west. Lows will fall into the mid 70s.
Sunday
This broken line of storms that pushes into Marion County Sunday morning will slowly traverse south and east as the day rolls on. Scattered showers and storms will fill up near the Orlando Metro and I-4 corridor by lunchtime, with storms favoring 95 and the space coast by mid-afternoon. These scattered showers will continue until sunset and then shut down.
Next Week
Dry air begins to filter into Central Florida on Monday morning as high pressure builds in over the north Gulf Coast. This dry air will help to cancel out our rain chances, lower humidity, and even our temperatures (just a tad.) Highs for the upcoming work week will hover around the upper 80s with lower humidity values. Our low temperatures will drop back down into the upper 60s by Tuesday morning and that trend continues through the second half of the week!
