Guests will be able to wish upon a star with a drink in hand at Skygazers, a new observatory-themed pub aboard the Disney Believe.

Skygazers Pub on the Disney Believe

Disney Cruise Line describes Skygazers as an astronomer’s laboratory where “grown-up dreamers” and wish-makers can gather beneath the evening sky. The pub will be decorated with bookshelves displaying astronomical instruments, celestial maps, and other objects associated with studying the stars.

Hidden among the decor will be props and references to classic Disney stories featuring characters who wished upon stars of their own. Disney has not yet revealed which films will be represented or what specific Easter eggs guests may discover.

The venue’s thematic menu will offer custom-made craft beers, specialty cocktails, and light bites. Skygazers will also broadcast live sporting events, giving guests another place to watch games while aboard the ship.

A Skygazers promotional poster shared by Disney Parks Blog uses a deep-blue and gold color palette inspired by the night sky. A stylized astronomical instrument occupies the center, surrounded by Disney and Pixar characters floating among stars and clouds.

The Disney Believe will embark on its maiden voyage toward the end of 2027. Bookings will become available later this month.

Prior to the bookings announcement, Disney Cruise Line shared the vessel’s initial home port and what itineraries we can expect for the first season of sailings. More details were also shared regarding the ship’s new entertainment offerings, dining venues, and an updated take on Disney Cruise Line’s Tangled stage show in addition to an all-new Encanto show.

Disney Believe Cruise Ship

The Disney Believe is “inspired by promise, possibility, and what lies beyond the horizon.” It will launch in 2027 with a Grand Hall featuring a Moana statue, Tinker Bell on the bow, and Buzz and Woody on the stern.

The ship is being assembled at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The first “gigablock” floated out in September.

It is the fourth Wish-class ship following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. This means it’s the same size and shape as these ships, with the same layout but different theming.

A fifth Wish-class ship operated by Tokyo Disney Resort owners Oriental Land Company will begin sailing out of Japan in 2029. A class of smaller ships will also begin launching in 2029.
