Street Zombies Return to Universal Studios Japan for Halloween Horror Nights 2026

Hordes of zombies — the most to ever appear at the event — roam from 6 p.m. to park close during Halloween Horror Nights, which runs from September 11 through November 8, 2026.

Many of the zombies wear school sport uniforms, like a field day gone wrong. Some wield the classic HHN weapon of a chainsaw, but others swing their tennis rackets, baseball bats, and skateboards.

Guests can also catch zombies dancing during Zombie de Dance. Performances are also from 6 p.m. to park close. The show includes songs like King Gnu’s “SO BAD” and a medley including Ado’s “Uta” and Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS’ “Rat-tat-tat.” The final performance of the day includes “legendary songs from the past” to honor 15 years of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Japan.

Though zombies only roam in the evenings, Halloween Horror Nights is all day at Universal Studios Japan, rather than a separately-ticketed event like at domestic parks. Zombies also appear in the house Factory of Fear: Zombie Tour.
