How could you not be, when McDonald’s is dropping an adorable collection like the new one they just teased?! Get ready for many, MANY McDonald’s visits in August. A new Hello Kitty Godzilla Happy Meal is on the way, and it’s got to be one of the best Happy Meal themes we’ve ever seen!
It looks like the next Happy Meal has “cute” meeting “kaiju”, because McDonald’s is bringing Hello Kitty and Godzilla together for a brand-new Happy Meal collaboration. The Hello Kitty and Friends x Godzilla Happy Meal is combining the adorable Sanrio characters with the world’s most iconic monster, and we’re so here for it.

The collection officially launches on August 18th at participating McDonald’s restaurants across the U.S. The toys will be available for a limited time and while supplies last. The collection features eight crossover toys, including:
• Hello Kitty x Godzilla
• Kuromi x Kiryu
• Badtz-Maru x Rodan
• My Melody x Mothra
• Keroppi x King Ghidorah
• Chococat x SpaceGodzilla
• Cinnamoroll x Destoroyah
• Pompompurin x Gigan (TheStreet)

McDonald’s teased the crossover with the tagline “Cute meets Kaiju,” showing Hello Kitty emerging from the ocean in a Godzilla-inspired look. Each Happy Meal will include one toy. They all look so adorable! While the Hello Kitty Godzilla may be our favorite, we NEED to get the entire collection.

With the toy coming to select McDonald’s restaurants, we’re hoping one of them is the McDonald’s on Disney World property. It’s located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we often stop there after a long Disney day. Regardless, we’ll be hunting these things down!
