Toys“R”Us is expanding its presence in Florida as part of a nationwide rollout that will bring 120 new standalone stores to the U.S. this holiday season.

In a release this month, the company announced that the new locations, opening through a partnership with Go! Retail Group, will bring the total number of standalone Toys“R”Us stores nationwide to 160.

The retailer did not specify exactly how many of the new standalone stores will be located in Florida.

However, the brand’s Florida expansion will include two new airport shop-in-shop locations at Orlando International Airport.

The first opened in August, while a second location is scheduled to open in summer 2027 through a partnership with WHSmith North America.

The airport stores are designed to serve travelers visiting Orlando and the broader Central Florida region, giving families another opportunity to shop for toys, gifts and collectibles while traveling.

The new Toys“R”Us locations will carry products from brands including LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Pokémon, and “KPop Demon Hunters,” according to the company. Some stores will also feature Creator Studios, where toy brands and content creators can host product launches, reveals and special events. Select locations are expected to include candy shops and cafés.

The expansion is part of Toys“R”Us’ broader strategy to reach customers through standalone stores, shops inside Macy’s locations, airport stores and Navy Exchange shop-in-shops.

“This holiday season represents an extraordinary expansion for Toys”R”Us in the U.S., and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the magic of Toys”R”Us to so many communities across the country,” said Gideon Schlessinger, CEO of Go! Retail Group. “There’s something special about walking into a Toys”R”Us store, especially during the holidays—the excitement of discovering the hottest toys, seeing favorite brands and characters come to life, and finding that perfect gift. With 160 stores open this season, we have an incredible opportunity to bring that experience to millions of customers and create destinations they’ll want to come back to throughout the year.”
