Tropical Storm Fay formed early Sunday morning and as of the Sunday 5 p.m. advisory, Fay has reached winds of 65mph.

The latest forecast cone shows Fay has a small window of opportunity to strengthen to a low-end category 1 hurricane later Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Fay will quickly lose strength and is forecast to become a remnant low towards the end of this week as environmental conditions become increasingly unfavorable.
