Anchor Matt Austin is working on a story about a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection rule that changes how international mail packages, including prescription drugs, enter the country.
Canadian pharmacies and patient advocates say the change will effectively end Americans’ ability to receive personal prescriptions by mail from abroad.
The rule takes effect Oct. 22, but Canadian pharmacies are warning that if you do not make your final order by Oct. 9, you may not get your prescriptions in time.
We will have more tonight at 11 p.m. on News 6.
